Don’t simply pig completely (or gobble turkey!) this Thanksgiving. Start your vacation on Turkey Trot 5K stroll and run-through University City. That feast will taste better yet, understanding that you burned some calories and assisted help a cause as well, the Sickle Cell Partners of Carolinas.
Join fellow athletes and walkers on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, for the 2nd yearly University City turkey-trot 5K. The event takes location within Fresh Market, 3024 success Church path (near Mallard Creek path). Beginning time is 8 am when it comes to 5K run and stroll.
This course employs Prosperity Church path to all over Benfield path intersection, then back to the new Market.
Costumes and children’ events, also!
After the race, cool down and luxuriate in a post-race mini-feast featuring meals, beverages and music. The University City Turkey Trot 5k will also feature a great operate for kids, starting at 9. Costumes tend to be encouraged by all those young in mind! Rewards would be granted for top three costumes.
